Size Guide

Measure first. It takes ten seconds and saves a wrong size.

How to measure

  1. Wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest part of your bare upper arm, where the pod or sensor sits. Snug but not tight: you should be able to slide a finger under the tape.
  2. Do not measure over the pod or sensor. The sizing already allows for it.
  3. Write down the number and match it to the table. No soft tape? Use a strip of paper or a phone cable, mark it, and hold it against a ruler.

Size table

Kids S 6–7.5 in 4.5 in
Kids M 7.5–9 in 4.5 in
Kids L 9–10.5 in 4.5 in
XS 9–10 in 5.5 in
S 10–11.5 in 5.5 in
M 11.5–13 in 5.5 in
L 13–14.5 in 5.5 in
XL 14.5–16 in 5.5 in

Kids and adult sizes

Every band I make comes in all eight sizes. Kids S, M and L are cut to a 4.5-inch height; XS through XL are 5.5 inches. Within each, the only difference between sizes is circumference: measure the arm and pick that number, not an age.

Kids L and XS fit the same arm and cost the same. Kids L is the shorter 4.5-inch band; XS is the taller 5.5-inch band. If your measurement lands in both, pick by how much coverage you want.

Between two sizes?

Round down. These stretch, and a band that is slightly snug stays put. A band that is slightly loose slides down during the day.

Two exceptions finish a little tighter: the Black band in Sport and the French terry bands in Cozy. In those, if you're between sizes or near the top of a size, go up one. The other Sport colours, Matte Black included, and the softer cozy knits are stretchier, so round down as usual.

How snug is right

Snug, not tight. The band should hold the pod or sensor in place without leaving deep marks in your skin. If it does, or if your readings drop while you are wearing it, size up: pressure on a sensor can cause false low readings.

Which knit

I cut every band in small batches, so colours rotate, but the families stay the same:

  • Sport. The smooth knit: the strongest snap-back, and the best at staying put through movement.
  • Everyday. The soft cotton-feel knit, light and breathable, for all day and overnight, in solids, heathers, camo and tie dye.
  • Cozy. The warmer, more substantial knits for cool weather: the French terry and thick sweater bands, the textured knits (a marled rib, a waffle and a rough-textured black), and the heavy Sunset Ombré sweater knit, which is hand wash.

Tie dye comes in Everyday and Cozy knits and comes out different on every cut, so yours won't match the photo exactly.

All of them are cut so the stretch wraps around your arm, folded over and stitched with the seam enclosed inside, and all of them are 4.5 inches tall in kids sizes and 5.5 inches in adult sizes. See every band.

If it still doesn't fit

Unworn, unwashed bands can be returned for a refund within 14 days of delivery, extended for weekends and holidays. You pay the return shipping and a 25% restocking fee is deducted; then order the size you need. Full terms in the return and refund policy.

Outside the table?

Arms under 6 inches or over 16 inches, thigh and leg bands, and wider bands are made to order. See custom sizes.
