FAQ

Will this fit my Omnipod 5, Omnipod DASH, Dexcom G7, or Dexcom G6?

Yes. The band is a plain fabric sleeve, 5.5 inches tall in adult sizes and 4.5 inches in kids sizes, cut so the stretch wraps around your arm and folded over with the seam enclosed inside, so it fits over any of them and over a FreeStyle Libre sensor or an infusion site. It holds the device against your arm; it doesn't attach to the device.

How do I know what size to order?

Measure around the widest part of your bare upper arm, where the pod or sensor sits, snug but not tight, and match the number to the size guide. Don't measure over the pod; the sizing allows for it. Between sizes, round down, except the Black Sport band and the French terry bands, which finish a little tighter: in those, go up one.

Why do the Kids and adult sizes overlap?

They fit the same arm measurement but differ in height. Kids S, M and L are 4.5 inches tall; XS through XL are 5.5. Kids L and XS fit the same arm and cost the same: Kids L is the shorter band, XS the taller one, so if your measurement lands in both, pick by how much coverage you want.

Do you make kids sizes?

Yes, and on every band I make, not a separate range. Kids S, Kids M, and Kids L cover arms from 6 to 10.5 inches, and all three are 4.5 inches tall. Use the size filter on any collection page to see everything in the size you need.

How tight should it be?

Snug, not tight. It should hold the device without leaving deep marks in your skin. If it does, or if your readings drop while you wear it, size up. Pressure on a sensor can cause false low readings.

Can I wear it swimming?

I don't make a swim band right now. None of these are waterproof and none of them seal the device from water, and a soaked band stays damp against your skin, so it isn't what I'd reach for at the pool. If one does get wet, rinse it in cool water before it dries and hang it up.

Will it keep my pod from falling off?

It adds a layer of protection and coverage. The pod sits under two layers of fabric instead of catching on door frames, straps, and sleeves, and the band holds it against your arm. It doesn't replace the pod's own adhesive, and it can't prevent every failure. More in Omnipod keeps falling off? What actually works.

Does it leave adhesive or residue?

No. There is no adhesive, no tape, and nothing stuck to your skin. The band holds by compression alone.

Which knit should I pick?

I cut every band in small batches, so colours rotate, but the families stay the same. Sport is the smooth knit: the strongest snap-back, the best at staying put through movement. Everyday is the soft cotton-feel knit, light and breathable, for all day and overnight, in solids, heathers, camo and tie dye. Cozy is the warmer knits for cool weather: the French terry and thick sweater bands, the textured knits, and the heavy Sunset Ombré sweater knit. Tie dye comes in both Everyday and Cozy and comes out different on every cut. The size guide describes each one.

Will my tie dye look like the photo?

Close, but not exactly. The tie-dye fabric runs differently across every cut, so the colours and the pattern on your band will not match the photo, and no two bands are the same. Same colourway, same knit, never the same twice. If that bothers you, the solid colours and prints are cut from fabric that looks the same from band to band.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash cold on gentle, hang dry. No dryer, no fabric softener, no dryer sheets. The sweater knit is the exception: hand wash that one. Full instructions on the care page.

How long until it ships, and what does shipping cost?

Every band is cut and sewn to order and ships within 3 to 5 business days of payment; custom sizes ship within 7 to 10 days. Every US order ships free by USPS Ground Advantage, typically 2 to 5 business days in transit. Priority Mail is offered at checkout as a paid faster option. Full terms in the shipping policy.

What's your return policy?

Unworn, unwashed bands can be returned for a refund within 14 days of delivery, extended to account for weekends and holidays. You pay the return shipping, and a 25% restocking fee is deducted from the refund. The refund reaches your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of the band arriving back. Need a different size? Return the band and order the size you need. A band that fails within 30 days of delivery because of a seam or fabric defect is replaced at no charge. Full terms in the return and refund policy.

Do you make custom sizes, or thigh and leg bands?

Yes. Arms under 6 inches or over 16 inches, thigh, calf, and leg bands, wider bands, and specific fabrics are made to order. See custom sizes.

Do you take bulk orders for camps, clinics, or support groups?

Yes. Use the custom sizes form with the sizes and quantity you need and you'll get a quote within 2 business days.
